Canon’s RemoteCapture software let you to control the camera right from your Personal Computer. In addition, the supplied Wireless Printer Adapter connects into any PictBridge-enabled photo printer. The Canon Powershot SD430 also features Canon’s exclusive Intelligent Orientation Sensor/9-point AiAF auto focus system that let the camera to automatically detect vertical or horizontal direction and correctly detect and focus on subjects within the 9-point focusing frame.
This camera prints pictures wirelessly and simply on many different brands of PictBridge printers such as Kodak’s EasyShare printer dock plus series 3. With the Canon SD430 you don’t need a configuration to print. It’s already preconfigured to recognize the print adapter built-in with the camera.
Using the IEEE802.11b Wi-Fi standard, the SD430 digital camera can transmit a 5.0 megapixel image file to a compatible Canon SELPHY or PIXMA Photo Printer at high speed in approximately six seconds. With wireless direct printing using the SD430 digital camera, consumers are freed from the trouble of connecting their camera to a printer with a USB cable each time they want to print.
Like all PowerShot digital cameras, the SD430 works seamlessly with Canon’s petite SELPHY Compact Photo Printers – an essential PowerShot accessory. Consumers connect their PowerShot digital camera to a SELPHY printer – such as the new SELPHY CP510, CP710 and CP600 models – press the lighted Print/Share button, and within seconds Print speed based on average output speed achieved during product testing with DIGIC II processor embedded Canon PowerShot digital cameras.
The camera’s 3x optical zoom lens (35–105mm equivalent) includes two Ultra High Refractive Index Aspherical (UA) elements, allowing the camera to retain a slender profile without compromising on picture quality.
With 14 shooting modes, the camera is designed to deliver great results in a wide range of situations. Movie mode allows users to record extra long (up to 1 GB in size) high quality 30fps VGA movie clips with sound.
Canon’s Intelligent Orientation Sensor technology recognises when the camera is rotated from horizontal to vertical, automatically rotating stored images for correct playback. The Digital IXUS WIRELESS comes bundled with a comprehensive software suite, including Canon’s ZoomBrowser EX 5.5 (Windows) and ImageBrowser 5.5 (Mac) for editing and organising photos, movies and slide shows. The software package also includes easy printing software PhotoRecord 2.2, PhotoStitch, and ArcSoft’s photo manipulation software, PhotoStudio. The user-friendly Canon Wireless Camera Setup utility1 contains simple step-by-step instructions for quick and easy setup of target devices.
